It was formed when Admiral Lord Nelson School (ALNS) became a converter academy in April 2014 as a means of developing ever closer working relationships with our primary and secondary partner schools.
The Teaching Assistant role is important in supporting the learning and care of our students across all areas of the curriculum empowering them to be able to raise their own achievement and academic success. Working under the guidance of teachers in your specialist area you will prepare lesson learning activities and deliver them regularly with a small group of students or on a 1:1 basis. You must have GCSE or equivalent A*-C grades in English and Mathematics.
